Best Jamaican restaurant ever. Everything on the menu is to die for. I had red peas soup to begin, then oxtail and it was oh so delicious. The steamed veggies tasty and done just right. Other members of my party were also pleased with their order which consisted of fried fish, fried dumplings, beef patties. Time between ordering and getting served was a little lengthy, but it was all worth it wait.

I absolutely love this restaurant. The taste is consistent and the owners are warm and friendly. My school is close by and I always order patty and dumplings with a little side of curry or oxtail gravy.

For someone not too familiar with Jamaican cuisine, I found much to enjoy! Their meat is well cooked and tender and the sides are flavorful and interesting. The staff is very friendly and the wait is slow, though lots of people seem to order it because there were constant deliveries going out.

This restaurant is my first choice place. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this place. Whenever I I need a decent supper, this is the place that comes straightaway to my mind. excellent and many types of food and a rich menu.well mannered staff, and good vibes. Not less important, the cost is decent. I tell about this spot with great pleasure.

I have gone here a few times and it was great. But the last time I went the food was horrible. The rice and chicken were dry, and the patty...now i don't even know if i would call that a patty.

I meet with friends this place quite a bit! This is my favorite spot to grab a bite. I go to this spot frequently. The meals are great, the crew is courteous and the rates are affordable. I enjoy meeting in this place to have a rich supper.

My. Go to place when IAM in Edmonton. The oxtail was on point. Curry goat awesome , at the Scarborough standards lol, and the jerk chicken straight good. Good portions and excellent customer service. Just make sure you order your chicken ahead of time. It goes fast

Good food, prompt efficient service. Tried calling another Jamaican restaurant to place an order for a pick and no one answered even though their hours stated that they were open. So I decided to give A Yah Mi Deh a try. So so glad I did. Got an oxtail and jerk chicken combo and it was delicious. Will definitely try them out again in the future.

Ordered on Skip! Everything tasted delicious and excellent portions for the price. Hands down best Jamaican grub in town! I can wait to sample more from the menu.

The food is good. We had curry goat and patties. The rice and peas had a strange buttery taste. The veggies had a strong basil taste. The curry was fantastic. Patties were good.

I'm eating this right now! I had some jerk chicken, it's a classic and one of my favorites. I also had some Ox tail, this was my first time having some and it was delicious. Huge portions and a lovely lady at the counter, unfortunately I didn't catch her name. Will be back to see how the stewed beef is

My Mom was born in Barbados 🇧🇧, so I grew up eating great Caribbean food.This place is the closest thing to my Mom’s cooking I’ve had since she died.Do your stomach, and your soul, a favour and go there. Great food, friendly staff, spotlessly clean & reasonably priced.

The proprietress is very pleasant and should you stop in and eat, the atmosphere is very much like a simple restaurant in Jamaica. This was my second visit and while the meals were not out of this world, they were delightful.

Its one of the best in edmonton. And yhis is coming from someone that grew up in Toronto with the best jerk chicken. So for edmonton this is the best. Makes me feel like im at home.

For me, the best Jamaican restaurant so far. We come here often that we got to know the owner Mary and her husband. They are good people. Everytime I try Jamaican food from other places, I can't help but to compare it to A Ya Mi Deh's food. Their oxtail is the best.

Today was my second time buying at this restaurant and I have to say that I am impressed with how friendly the staff is and how authentic the food is. I had beef patties and curried goat with roti and everything was good. I do intend to continue purchasing at this restaurant. Keep up the good service👍

The food is always delicious. Our favourite are the dough balls, though they run out fast so you have to get there early. We love their jerked chicken meal, but enjoy all their food. Great selection of drinks. The food is a bit spicy for our kids, but we love it.
